I am a professional Customs Inspector who truly loves my job, despite all its challenges and deterrents :) The purpose of founding Journey to Turkiye is quite simple: while keeping up with the constantly updated customs legislation and developments in international trade, I wanted to document what I learn and reinforce this knowledge by sharing it with the world.
While contributing to my own professional development, my goal is to create a transparent, user-friendly information hub for anyone interested in the customs world, international travelers, and foreign tourists visiting Turkey. I especially hope that these practical guides will help well-meaning travelers and expats avoid unnecessary bureaucratic headaches or fines resulting simply from a lack of information.
